Dr. Andy Villemez is an author, composer, and educator. He helps ambitious musicians and music teachers navigate the complexities of their craft and careers so that they can lead creative and purposeful lives and help others do the same.

He serves as Associate Professor at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. He speaks nationally on topics related to professional development for musicians and educators, the pedagogy of creative music making, and adaptive teaching strategies in the applied lesson and collegiate group piano classroom. His latest book, Musicianship at the Keyboard: essential skills for the creative musician (VMS Publications, 2021), develops functional skills for students preparing for careers in the music industry.
